Which backend should you choose?

Classiq’s Quantum Circuit Analyzer is a unique tool, as far as I’ve seen, in that it can help you select which quantum computer, out of the many it can transpile your circuit for, you might want to run your circuit on. There are still considerations such as qubit error rates and connection error rates, of course, even Quantum Volume (QV), but the hardware comparison table can at least rank for you which devices you should look at and in which order.

Welcome

Classiq’s Quantum Circuit Analyzer has three access options; I selected the publicly-available direct access option and that’s the one I’ll be reviewing here. If you surf on over to Classiq’s User Guide, however, you’ll also find information about the Python SDK and VS Code options. Be advised that these latter two options require authentication, so let’s see what we can get out of Classiq for free, shall we?

Anyway, if you use the direct access option, you’ll find four main areas on the welcome screen. Toward the top left you can see the Circuit Visualization section, toward the top right you can see the Analysis Data section…
